Clearing Sound Pad effect functions
Use the following procedures to clear effect functions assigned to Sound
Pads.
As an example, here we explain the procedure to remove an effect func-
tion assigned to Bank 1.
1. Open the PAD Settings page of the Sound Pad Screen and activate
Bank 1.

2. Open the Bank 1 screen and tap Pad 1.

“Effect” is shown in the audio source file name field.

Tap the
garbage icon to clear the assigned effect function.
Recording sounds and assigning them to
Sound Pads
Sound Pad audio sources can be recorded by this unit.
(The stereo mix of the unit is recorded.)
As an example, here we explain the procedure for recording and adding
a sound to Pad 1 of Bank 1.
1. Load an SD card.
2. Adjust the faders and other controls so you can hear the sound mix
that you want to record to the pad.
3. Open the PAD Settings page of the Sound Pad Screen and activate
Bank 1.

4. When the Bank 1 screen is open, tap Pad 1.

The desired color can be set.

As necessary, select the Play Method on the Sound Pad Screen to
set how it plays back.
5. Next, tap “PAD Rec” to show the pad recording control.
