PreREC Time
Turn this function ON or OFF and set the length of pre-
recording time. (Default: OFF)
When PreREC Time is ON, signals input during
recording standby are captured and stored in the built-
in memory for the length of time set here, allowing
up to 5 seconds of the signal input before recording
is started manually to be recorded and temporarily
stored.
To set the pre–recording time, touch the knob, and
adjust the value using the DATA dial.
Setting range: 1–5 seconds (default: 2 seconds)

•

exceeded.

(Default: OFF)

the value using the DATA dial.
Setting
options:
–0.20dB (default), –0.17dB, –0.13dB,
–0.10dB, –0.06dB, –0.03dB
Settings made here are reflected in the Over Level
setting on the
METER SETUP
screen.
Time Interval
•
Use this to add marks at fixed time intervals. Turn this
function ON or OFF and set the time interval. (Default:
OFF)
To set the time, touch the knob, and adjust the value
using the DATA dial.
The range of setting values is 1–10 minutes (default:
5 minutes).
Sync Unlock
•
Use this to add a mark when synchronization with
the master clock is lost. Turn this function ON or OFF.
(Default: OFF)
PRE/REC/END
•
When ON, marks are added automatically at the
pre-recording start point, recording start point and
recording end point. (Default: OFF)
NOTE
An Audio Over event occurs when the level exceeds
•
the maximum level (0 dBFS) minus the value set by the
user. (In the example above, this would be when the
level exceeds the maximum level minus 0.20 dB.)
PRE/REC/END auto markers are only added to takes
•
in take mode. They will not appear on the timeline in
timeline mode.
After an Audio Over or Sync Unlock auto marker has
•
been added, the same type of mark will not be added
again until at least 10 seconds have passed since the
last such mark was added.
