Upper Monitor Installation
Purpose/Scope
This procedure explains how to install the upper monitor.

Phillips head screwdriver.
Safety Considerations
Procedure
□
1. Verify that the main power on the PEP is in the off position.
Check the power indicator to see if power is removed.
□
2. Slide the monitor into position on the upper monitor
mounting plate.
□
3. Install the four screws that secure the monitor to its
mounting plate.
□
4. Attach the VGA cable (Fig. PR40-1 ).

NOTE:
1. This part is not needed if this procedure is part of touchscreen replacement.
WARNING
1. There are exposed AC and DC connections inside the cabi-
net. These exposed electrical connections present a shock
hazard that can cause injury or death.
2. The monitor will slide out by itself before the mounting hard-
ware is installed. The monitor weighs approximately 27 kilo-
grams (60 pounds) and can cause bodily injury if it is allowed
to slide out by itself. Support the monitor before installing the
hardware.
