Procedure
This procedure contains installation instructions for the CPU.
If a hard drive, CD ROM drive or graphics card needs replaced,
refer to the
DEC User Information manual shipped with the
auxiliary terminal and to the appropriate procedures in this
instruction.
The CPU has a lithium battery located on the mother board.
This battery supplies power to the real time clock while the
system is in the unpowered state. Refer to the
DEC User Infor-
mation manual for important and cautionary information on
10 min.

WARNING
1. There are exposed AC and DC connections inside the cabi-
net. These exposed electrical connections present a shock
hazard that can cause injury or death.
CAUTION
1. Make sure that all voltage labels and voltage switch settings
on the peripheral devices, power supply, and power entry panel
show the correct operating voltage. Equipment damage may
result if the incorrect voltage is connected. Make sure the con-
sole main power circuit breaker is off before changing operat-
ing voltage settings or equipment damage may result.
