Keyboard Interface Assembly
Replacement
Purpose/Scope
This procedure explains how replace the keyboard interface
assembly.
Parts
Tools
•
Bladed screwdriver.
Safety Considerations
Procedure
□
1. Verify that the main power on the PEP is in the off position.
Check the power indicator to see if power is removed.
□
2. Label and remove all cables from the rear of the keyboard
interface assembly.
□
3. Use the bladed screwdriver to remove the two screws hold-
ing the keyboard interface assembly to the auxiliary terminal.
□
4. Slide the keyboard interface assembly out of the auxiliary
terminal.
□
5. Install the new keyboard interface assembly.
□
6. Use the bladed screwdriver to install the two screws that
hold the keyboard interface assembly to the auxiliary terminal.
□
7. Install all cables.
