ATA DOWNLOADING AND UPLOADING
Downloading and uploading data can be done with the use of docking stations and the Supervisor software
(see Chapter 6.4.1 ).
The docking stations exchange data with a PC by the USB protocol.
Both docking stations are equipped with the USB-B plug and require the
SC 16
cable.

In the case data transmission is failed, docking stations should be reset. To reset the docking station,
disconnect all cables from the docking station to cut off the power.

ESETTING DOSIMETER
•
FACTORY SETTINGS: clears any setup configuration and brings back the default factory
settings. You can reset the factory settings with the use of the
Send ‘clear setup’ command
if
you click right mouse button at the instrument row of the Supervisor
’s Inventory panel
(Chapter 6.2 ).
•
HARDWARE RESET: internal hardware reset; the setup configuration is not changed. Hold
down the key for about 30 seconds and then release it. If the instrument was switched on,
the screen will shut down after approx. 20 seconds. Turn on the instrument as usually
(Chapter
4.3 ).
Note: Hardware reset is only to be used in extreme situations such as an instrument hang-up. Be
aware, that a hardware reset:
- will stop any pre-programmed auto-run modes
- will stop measurement run
- HARDWARE RESET works, even if the keyboard becomes locked out!
