FUEL AND LUBRICATION SYSTEM

AIR CONTROL VALVE

REMOVAL

• Remove the carburetor. (

4-12)

• Remove the air control valve

INSPECTION

To inspect the air control valve, perform the following inspections.
• Blow the air inlet port of the air control valve as shown. If air

does not flow out, replace the air control valve with a new one.

• Carry out the above inspection under the conditions that the air

control valve temperature is 20°C and when it is 0°C.

• Check that, when the air control valve temperature is 0°C, the

air flow becomes less than that when it is 20°C.

• If any defects are found, replace the air control valve with a

new one.

REMOUNTING

Remount the air control valve in the reverse order of removal.
