OIL LEVEL INDICATOR SWITCH
INSPECTION
Measure the continuity between the lead wires of the oil level
indicator switch.
If there is no continuity between the terminals when the float
1
is in the low-level position, replace the oil level indicator switch.

• Remove the trunk. (

• Disconnect the thermoelement coupler

• Connect the thermoelement
2
lead wires to a 12 V battery.
Wait five minutes and feel the thermoelement to see if it has
reached approximately 36°C. If the appropriate temperature is
not reached, replace the thermoelement with a new one.
NOTE:
This check should be carried out when the carburetor is cold.
