REASSEMBLY
Reassemble the carburetor in the reverse order of disassembly.
Pay attention to the following points:
• Adjust the air screw

• Before installing the carburetor heater, apply a small quantity
of THERMO-GREASE to the threads of the carburetor heater
and tighten it to the specified torque.

Carburetor heater: 3 N.m (0.3 kgf.m)
• Install the throttle valve with the top cap.
• Align the slit

on the throttle valve with the projection

on
the carburetor body.
REMOUNTING
Remount the carburetor in the reverse order of removal. Pay at-
tention to the following points:
• After all of the work has been completed, install the carburetor
onto the motorcycle and perform the following adjustments to
the specification.
