2) Measure the resistance between the terminals “A” to
“C” as shown.
If the resistance is not within the specified value,
replace the TP sensor. Refer to “TP Sensor
Replacement: ”.

3) Connect the TP sensor coupler.
TP Sensor Replacement

Replace the TP sensor as described following
procedures:
1) Disconnect the TP sensor coupler (1) and remove
the TP sensor (2).
2) Temporary install the TP sensor.
3) Measure the resistance between the TP sensor
terminals “A” to “C” as shown.

4) Fully open the throttle valve with the throttle lever.
5) Measure the resistance between the TP sensor
terminals “A” to “B” as shown.
