6-3  Removing the Chassis Cover

The SC118GQE has a two piece cover. For either the front cover or the rear cover:

1.  Unscrew the two thumb screws on the end of the chassis.

2.  Remove the screw securing the cover to each side of the chassis.

3.  Pull the cover towards the end of the chassis and off. 

Caution

: Do not operate the server without the cover in place for long periods 

of time. The chassis cover helps to allow proper airflow and prevent overheating
