Assembly of the
sealing rings
ATTENTION
Risk of damage due to incorrect position
of the sealing rings
The incorrect position of the sealing rings can lead to
leaks.
► Observe the mounting position of the sealing rings
according to the dimensional drawing, see sec-
tion 4.3.
1. Insert sealing rings (9)/(10) into the outer body (3).
NOTE
Observe the mounting position. The sealing
rings can be warmed at approx. 80 °C in oil
or water for ease of assembly. Once the
sealing rings have been inserted, they must
be cooled down again to room temperature
before further assembly.

Assembly of the
piston (construc-
tion with circlip)
1. Carefully remove dust, dirt, filings and other foreign
particles.
2. Prior to assembly, moisten sealing areas on the pis-
ton (2) and outer body (3), as well as the new seal-
ing rings (9)/(10) with hydraulic fluid.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage due to jamming
The running surfaces can be damaged due to jamming
and external forces.
► Ensure that the components do not jam.
► Do not use force or a hammer.
3. Slide the piston (2) including the pressure
springs (7)/(8) carefully into the outer body (3).
Ensure that the sealing rings (9)/(10) are not dam-
aged.
4. Insert the disc (21) and push it against the spring
pressure up to the end stop.
5. Mount the circlip (22).
After assembly of the circlip, pressure on the
disc (21) can be released.
