Disassembly of
the piston (con-
struction with
cylinder cover)
DANGER
Risk of accidents caused by components
subjected to spring pressure
Disassembly work on the brakes that is not carried out
correctly may lead to the sudden release of the pres-
sure springs, which can lead to serious injuries.
► Before disassembly of the cylindrical screws (11),
appropriate pressure must be exerted from outside
onto the cylinder cover (4) to prevent the sudden re-
lieving of the pressure springs (7)/(8).
1. Remove the cylindrical screws (11).
2. Remove the cylinder cover (4).
3. Remove the piston (2) together with the pressure
springs (7)/(8) from the outer body (3).

Assembly of the
disc pack
1. Steel discs must be degreased for dry and wet oper-
ation.
2. Beginning and ending with an outer disc (6), assem-
ble new outer and inner discs (5) alternatively in the
outer body (3).
Compare the number of dismantled discs with the
number of discs to be assembled.
