An incorrect tightening torque can lead to damage that
may even include components breaking.
► Observe the tightening torque.

screws (11).
Use liquid screw locking agent if necessary, see

Risk of accidents caused by components subjected to spring pressure
Disassembly work on the brakes that is not carried out correctly may lead to the sudden release of
the pressure springs, which can lead to serious injuries.
► Any disassembly or maintenance work should be carried out by Stromag. For this purpose, re-
quest a qualified specialist approved by Stromag or remove the brake, see section 8.4.1, and send
it to Stromag, see section 11.2.
► The procedure described in this documentation must be followed precisely.

Replacing parts using sharp or pointed tools may lead to damage.
► Do not use any sharp or pointed tools.
► Handle with extreme caution.
► Wherever possible, use assembly aids.
