Safety tests
NOTE
Please observe the definition of the following
responsible persons: "operating company"
and "competent person".
The LPG system must be checked:
• Recurring in regular intervals, but at least
once per year
• After repair work that may affect operational
safety
• After changes that may affect operational
safety
• After breaks in operation of more than one
year.
The following will be checked: proper con-
dition, the possibility of leakages, function,
installation and the functionality of the safety
devices.
The results from the inspection must be
recorded in an inspection document in accor-
dance with BGG 936 (observe the applicable
national regulations). The results must be
retained until the next inspection. The inspec-
tion documents must be available for viewing
by the authorities at any time.
The type and scope of tests may differ accord-
ing to the country. Any differing legal provi-
sions in the respective country of operation
must be observed when using trucks with an
LPG system.
The operating company is responsible for
ensuring any defects are remedied without
delay. In the event of defects, notify the
authorised service centre.
Regularly checking the level of
harmful substances in the exhaust
gas
The operating company must ensure that the
level of harmful substances in the exhaust gas
is checked recurrently by a competent person
at regular intervals, at least every six months.
Observe the national regulations in the rele-
vant country! In Germany, perform checks in
accordance with § 37 of the employers' liability
