9.7.3 Measuring with the Diagonal Method (Moody)
The two types of methods are fundamentally different and need to be described
separately.

Open the configuration menu under 'Edit' in the top menu bar and select the 'Flatness' tab
(see fig. 83). Choose where to save the measuring results in the top field either by using
the default URL or clicking 'Browse'. The two buttons in the method of measurement sec-
tion signify how surface measurement in flatness is constructed from various linear mea-
surements. Should you choose 'Grid', for example, you will need to determine how many
vertical and horizontal lines you want to measure. The higher the number, the greater the
resolution of the plane will be. Of course, the more lines measured, the more work is
evolved. Click 'Apply' to continue.
