Select 'File' and 'Save as' in order to save and enter any additional information you might
want to keep. Click 'apply', select where you want to save the file under a given name and
confirm with 'Save'. You can open this file in the top menu bar in 'File' by selecting 'open'.
If you prefer, open a preview of the file by clicking 'Report'. You can also print the diagram
by clicking 'print' beside the preview button.
9.6.2 Selecting the right Optics
Different setups are available here for different purposes.
Depending on your intention, choose between four different
types of dynamic measurement for the characteristics on
your machine (see fig. 80). In the 'Display' section of the
dynamic menu, set up the standard IL1 and RL1 optics for the
first three options (distance, velocity and acceleration) as
described in 6.4. Accordingly, set up the RL1 and RK1 for an
angular measurement in tilt as described in 9.3.

9.6 Measuring the Dynamic Properties of the Axis
9.6.1 Basics
To identify the characteristics of the axis being measured,
select 'Dynamic' in the main menu. This type of measurement
is conducted in one uninterrupted motion for the whole length
of the axis. Depending on the connection between interfer-
ometer and computer, two different scanning rates along the
axis can be achieved. If connected via Bluetooth, the interfer-
ometer can reach an alacrity of 1000 points per second. For
an even higher resolution, connect via USB (up to 100 000
points/sec.).
