to correct number of
cylinders
Displayed RPM
value too high or
too low by a

Reconfigure system
to correct number of
pulses per

Ignition systems
may either:
-produce "waste"
sparks giving
double the number
of cylinders per
revolution
-use multiple coils
where each
additional coil gives
proportionately

revolution
