The Video Controller allows the user to switch the video recorder on and off,
display peak values and configure the various parameters (which will be
explained in Chapter 3).
Each button on the video controller has two functions, depending on whether
the system is in Normal (operational) mode, or Configuration mode (as
described in Chapter 3).
Normal Mode Functions
RECORD/NEXT:
Press RECORD to start and stop recording remotely. If your camera has a
LAN-C port the ‘record’ light will be illuminated while the camera is
recording.
PEAK/DEC:
Press and hold down the PEAK button to display peak values.
ON/OFF or INC:
Press ON/OFF to switch the video recorder on and off.
The ON/OFF and RECORD functions of the video controller connect to
your video recorder via a LAN-C port. If your recorder does not have a
LAN-C port, you will be unable to use those functions to control the
video recorder.
