DOWN
When the trainer is stopped, use the knob to go to the previous
program. It should also be used during value setup (e.g. time, distance)
–
when the value is flashing, use the DOWN knob to decrease it.
Using the knob during the training will reduce the resistance.
RECOVERY
Pressing this button will take you to the test of your condition.
After performing the test (two pulse measurements, before and after the
training), the system will show a symbol (F1-F6) that corresponds to the
rating of your current condition.
RESET
Pressing this button will reset the data of current training.

PULSE
: shows current pulse level during training. To achieve proper
measurement, please put both hands on the sensors built into the
handlebar. After about 4 seconds the measurement will show on the
display. To check if the pulse level is stable please hold the hands on the
sensors during the whole training session. Note: The shown data are
general and given for comparison of various training sessions. They should
not be used for medical purposes.

USER DATA
recorded data of previous user trainings. Scope: U0-U4.
The device is equipped with 12 initially set programs, 4 programs programmable by the user, WATT, HRC, and manual program.
The charts depicting the progress of programs (distribution of resistance levels in time) are included on pages 58
CREATING AN USER PROFILE
The device can be used by several users. In order for the system to
remember the user data used, among others, during calculating the amount
of burnt calories it is sufficient to create a profile. In order to create a profile,
after the counter start-up use the UP/DOWN dial and choose one of the
values (U1-U4). Press MODE to confirm. Fill out the data: sex, age, height,
and weight. Press MODE again to confirm. Please select your profile every
time before commencing training.
If there is no necessity to choose other training parameters (e.g. time, goal),
the user can start the training immediately after choosing his/her profile.
PROGRAM SELECTION
To go to the selected program, please turn the UP/DOWN dial until the
appropriate program (Manual, Program 1-12, Watt, Personal, HRC, and
Random) appears on the display.
Please confirm the choice with MODE button.
SETTING TRAINING PARAMETERS
The next step after confirming program selection is the setup of training
parameters
– goal that you want to achieve during the current session:
training time, distance to travel, amount of calories, watt value, or pulse.
Every time the parameters are set up by turning the UP/DOWN dial when
the number on the counter is flashing. Pressing the MODE button confirms
the value.
RECOVERY OPTION
The Recovery option is used to determine in what condition the user is,
which in turn can help during the selection of appropriate program. This is
done on the basis of user’s pulse value and data entered during a user
profile creation.
The pulse is measured after the end of training. Press the RECOVERY
button and place both hands on the pulse sensors. A pulse symbol and
pulse value will appear on the display. Only the time remaining to end the
measurement and pulse value will be visible on the display. The
measurement time is 60 seconds and the counting is shown on the display.
After the time is up, the display will show the result:
F1
– perfect condition (the difference between initial and end pulse value
is above 50), F2
– Good condition (40-49) F3 – Average condition (30-39),
F4
– Below average condition (20-29), F5 – poor condition (10-19), F6 -
very poor condition (below 10).
Caution! The Recovery function will not be activated if the system does not
detect your pulse.
To return to the main screen, press the RECOVERY button again after the
test ends.
AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
Manual program
In this mode the user decides with what resistance (1-24) he/she wants to
train. Please set the chart, so that it will show the desired resistance level
change distribution. Then set the other values (time, distance, calories,
and, if necessary, pulse) and press the START/STOP button to start the
training.
The resistance level can be changed during the training by turning the
UP/DOWN knob.
Please remember to select resistance appropriate to the current
disposition. If you feel that the resistance is too big
– reduce it.
