BURNER:
Using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner, carefully remove any
debris from the burner unit.

CHIMNEY DEBRIS
– If the fire
has been installed as a BS7977
appliance debris will gradually
collect in the void behind the
appliance and chimney (refer to
page 14). This debris must be
cleared during servicing. To do this
the plate below the burner must
be removed and a hoover used to
clear any debris (see image above)
The plate must be refitted.

FINAL STEPS:
Re-assemble the fire in the reverse order, and re-connect
the gas supply and check for leaks.
•
Check the pilot assembly for a good strong flame.
•
The fire must now be commissioned following all the steps set out on
page 29.

Ordering & Fitting Spare Parts.
When calling to order spare parts serial number of the gas fire and gas safe
registration number of the person who will carry out the repairs is required.
The serial number is shown on the data plate. To order spare parts call 01325-
327221 and ask for Customer Services. The only “user” replacement part for
this gas fire is the remote handset. The fitting of replacement parts must be
carried out by a qualified Gas Safe Engineer in line with current regulations.
To change parts refer to the servicing section of this manual.
Optional Extras
There is an option to add a wall switch and to upgrade to a mains power
supply. These parts must be ordered from customer services. The work must
be carried out by a trained gas safe engineer with electrical qualifications.
