Once contact is made, it is essential to lower the plate holder 5 clicks (0.5mm):

Clean the MiniCapt sampler head and discard the test agar plate.
This procedure establishes the accurate sampler head position for the media type
used, ensuring maximum collection efficiency.
Lock the Plate Holder
1.
At the end of the sample plate height adjustment, secure the plate holder
position by turning the locking pin counterclockwise only until it feels snug and
the plate holder cannot be moved with a gentle push of fingers.

Use a flat screwdriver or a similar tool to ensure a secure lock.
