MiniCapt® Mobile Operations Manual

User Management

Follow this procedure to enable instrument security with the

Enable Protection

feature.

>> To activate the Enable Protection feature:

View the

Users List

screen as described in

View the Users List Screen

page 14-1.

Touch the

Enable Protection

button.

Touch the

Username

field (1st field) to display the keyboard input screen.

Insert the Administrator username using the keyboard.

Touch the

Done

button when finished.

Touch the

Password

field (2nd field) to display the keyboard input screen.

Insert the Administrator password using the keyboard.

Touch the

Done

button when finished.

Check if the

Enable Protection

button is active

The instrument needs to restart to complete

Enable Protection

activation. After

restarting, you will see a Login screen display where you will be able to enter your
username and password.

To disable the

Enable Protection

feature, follow the activation procedure above. The

Enable Protection

button will instead switch from active

to inactive
