Adjust the Plate Holder Diameter

If the agar plate you intend to use does not fit inside the plate holder brackets, you can 
adjust the brackets in the plate holder to increase or decrease its diameter. The 
MiniCapt Mobile can be used with an agar plate having an external diameter between 
86 and 92 mm.

This procedure requires:

•

A 1.5 mm hex driver

•

An agar plate

WARNING

Remove power to the unit prior to removing sampler head.

>> To adjust for the plate’s diameter:

Remove the sampler head (see 

Figure 2-6

).

WARNING

After removing the sampling head, take care to ensure loose items 
are not dropped into the opening to the blower.
