Troubleshooting
Use this chapter to help troubleshoot issues with the MiniCapt Mobile Microbial Air
Sampler, such as power issues, communication messages, errors and leaks.

Unable to view data
from working sampler
Batteries are not

Verify batteries are charged.
Ethernet cable

Replace the Ethernet cable that
connects the sampler to an
Ethernet hub.
Unit not configured

Re-configure the unit. First check
the sensor’s IP Address and the
computer’s IP Address.
Computer hardware or
software problem
Substitute a computer with known
good Ethernet capability.
Refer to your computer’s Ethernet
cared documentation to correct
the fault.
