The Sysplex Timer must be configured to use Protocol 2 (NetClock/2) and connected to the
NetClock Serial Comm 1 port via a 9-pin serial cable (not included). Older Sysplex Timers
(9037-001) may connect to an ETS through the Sysplex Timer’s console port, while later model
Sysplex Timers (9037-002) feature a dedicated ETS port.
