means the kernel consults the system-wide default for the protocol specified.

Use
means the kernel uses an SA if it is available, while the kernel keeps normal
operation otherwise.

means an SA is required whenever the kernel sends a packet matched with the
policy.

Unique
is the same as Require, but allows the policy to match the unique outbound SA.
