to turn the External Data Interface function ON/OFF.
When turned ON, the instrument will attempt to actively connect via Bluetooth to an
External Data Interface.

BT ADDRESS
FIELD:
Displays the 12-digit hexadecimal Bluetooth address of the External Data Interface that
is currently configured into the instrument. This address determines the source of
external data acquired by the instrument during spectral scans. This field may only be
changed via the PC Software. See section

for more
information on how to change this field.

STATUS
FIELD
Displays the current state of the Bluetooth connection between the instrument and the
External Data Interface:
NOT CONNECTED
The interface is turned off, or the interface is
turned on but no Bluetooth connection can
be established to the external data source.
CONNECTED, NO SYNC
The interface is connected to the external
data source via Bluetooth, but the data
source is not sending correctly formatted
data.
CONNECTED, DATA OK
The interface is connected and receiving
correctly formatted data.

to select the channel (1 to 8) whose real-time data values are
displayed in
[BRACKETS]
; this allows the operator to monitor external data values for
each channel. This is also the channel selected to compute the percent change (Target to
Reference) found in the EXT field on the LCD Main Screen.
