The screen above is divided into several areas, as
described below:
The application’s
Title Bar displays the
Spectroradiometer Model Name and Current
Working Folder – that is, the folder where new scans
(real-time or downloaded) are saved, and where old
scans may be opened and displayed.
The location of the current working folder is retained in
the Windows Registry.
The location of the current working folder may be
changed with the File->New… or File->Open…
dialogs.
The
Main Menu allows the operator to open/save files
and configure both the instrument settings and the
display of spectral data. Each menu item is discussed in
detail in subsequent sections.
The
Reference Scan Button causes the instrument to
take and graphically display reference data. This button
may also be activated by pressing either the “R” or “F1”
key on the keyboard.
