Appendix K – Aux Port Specification
The round connector labeled “AUX” on the instrument’s back panel has multiple uses:
•
An RS-232 serial communications interface for PC/PDA host communication.
•
Multiple external trigger inputs – Reference, Target, and Current Setting.
•
Scan-in-progress output – provides a signal to external devices when a scan is in progress.
•
Battery power for powering external devices – V
