Removing the Shipping Lock
The shipping lock, which prevents the robotic transport mechanism from moving
during shipment, must be removed before the library is powered on.
The shipping lock is located in the top center of the library and is held in place with a
piece of tape. After the shipping lock is removed, store it on the library’s rear panel for
future use.
To remove and store the shipping lock:
1.
Locate the tape label and the lock, as illustrated in Figure 3-3:

Store the lock and label on the right side of the library’s rear panel (Figure 3-4).
