• Over time, repeated use of a chlorine bleach solution may cause some colors
to fade.

• In normal use of the docking station and qube monitor, the docking station
connectors are not exposed. If the docking station connectors require
cleaning and sterilization, follow the procedure below.
To clean the exterior of displays, monitors, modules, and
cables
1
Prepare the cleaning solution according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Wet a clean cloth with the selected cleaning solution.
3
Remove excess liquid from the cloth and squeeze dry.
4
Wipe exposed surfaces of the equipment and cables.
5
Remove any soap residue by gently wiping with a clean damp cloth.
6
Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.
To clean and sterilize the docking station
1
Remove the AC power adapter from the docking station.
2
Remove the monitor from the docking station.
3
Turn OFF the monitor.
4
Use a small brush (for example, a toothbrush) and dip it in the Isopropyl
Alcohol. Make sure to use Isopropyl Alcohol of 95% or greater alcohol
content.
5
Scrub the connector on the docking station.
6
Dip the brush in the alcohol again.
7
Scrub the docking station connectors that are on the monitor.
8
Let the monitor and docking station dry for 30 minutes.
Caution:
Make sure to let the alcohol dry before re-assembly. If you do not let the
alcohol dry, the monitor may not work correctly.

•
Where provided, follow the manufacturers' instructions concerning
disposable and reusable supplies.
•
As applicable, follow your hospital protocol concerning cleaning,
disinfection, and/or sterilization of reusable supplies.
•
Follow hospital protocols to dispose of used and contaminated single-use
accessories.
