To edit patient data

Touch the patient identifier area, located in the lower-left portion of the
screen.
The Admit, Discharge and Edit window shows with current patient data.

At the bottom of the screen, touch
Edit
.

Use the
Identification
and
Patient Data
tabs to find the patient data you want
to change. Use the on screen keyboard to enter new values.

Touch
Save
to save the new patient data.

Touch the red X in the top right corner of the Admit window to close the
window.
To discharge a patient

Note:
After the patient is discharged, the settings for ECG, RESP, SpO
2
, NIBP, IBP and
TEMP automatically return to the default patient type.
Alarms
The monitor provides capabilities that let the user quickly review alarm settings,
identify recent alarm conditions, prevent nuisance alarms, control alarm indications
for persistent conditions and proactively manage audible alarm indications. For
details on setting and controlling alarms, refer to

To protect the patient’s safety, do not silence or suspend alarms without
providing continuous and direct observation of the patient.
Trends
Trends show numeric data collected for a patient over a 96-hour
period either in tabular or graphic format. Data is available until the
data is purged or the monitor is powered off. The Trends toolbar at the
top of the Trends page lets you:
