Dynamic Network Access (DNA)
Dynamic Network Access™ (DNA™) is a Spacelabs Healthcare
proprietary version of the Citrix ICA Client that lets the clinical user run
remote applications on the local monitor. The DNA feature is a
purchasable option.
Notes:
• Make sure that any computer or communications equipment connected to
the network complies with applicable medical standards.
• The DNA window will time out after one minute of inactivity.
DNA Application Window
On single-display monitor configurations, the DNA application window is
superimposed over the monitoring display window. In the event of an alarm
(depending on the monitor configuration), the DNA application window is
automatically minimized and the normal monitoring display window is presented.
On dual-display monitor configurations, the DNA application window is presented
on a second display and remains active throughout alarms.
The DNA application window has two tabs:

Connection View
shows one or more static connections that allow access to
Citrix servers on the network. Connections consist of a description and a server
address.
•
Program Neighborhood View
shows a list of published applications with a
dynamic list acquired from a Citrix server or servers. (This tab is initially blank.
