Recording/Printing
The Print icon shows on the monitor’s taskbar. The monitor supports
several options for printing patient data:
• Record a preconfigured set of data from one or more monitors.
• Automatic recordings of any parameter in an alarm condition (if
configured in the Module Configuration Manager or the Alarm Parameters
function enabled for parameters without MCM control).
• Print patient demographic information, vital signs, waveform data, and
arrhythmia/ST segments.
• Print non-waveform data such as tabular trends and alarm limits.
Some parameters have a print button with the menu buttons, such as the ECG
parameter. Refer to the
Clinical Parameters Operations Manual
for details.
Alarm Recordings
An alarm recording is a recording that initiates when an alarm condition occurs.
Depending on how your system is set up, an alarm recording can trigger to print
automatically whenever a parameter enters an alarm condition. Alarm recordings
begin with several seconds of pre-alarm waveform data and continue for as long as
the alarm condition exists (or a minimum of 12 seconds).
Waveform Recordings
When you touch the
Record
or
icon from the main taskbar, the waveform
parameter keys flash for up to two seconds. You must make your selection within
this two-second time period. After you make a selection, the parameter keys flash
for an additional two seconds, which lets you make an additional selection, up to
four total.
Note:
You can print parameters that show in a waveform zone.
To make a recording of selected patient parameters

From the main taskbar, touch the
Printer
icon once.
All parameter keys flash for two seconds.

Touch up to four flashing parameter keys.
The parameters you selected are sent to the printer.
