Adjustment Procedure
1. Alignment tape playback
Play back the alignment tape HR2-1A (from 15 :
00 to 30 : 00).
2. CUE Head azimuth adjustment
(1) Rotate the azimuth adjustment screw either in
clockwise or counter-clockwise direction
until the maximum output waveform is
obtained.
(2) Repeat changing the mode from the EJECT
state to the PLAY state a few times and
confirm that the output level remains un-
changed and the same as that in step (1).
(3) Repeat changing the mode from REV
x
3 to
PLAY a few times and confirm that the
output level remains unchanged and the same
as that in step (1).

After pressing the PLAY button, press the
REW button. (Both the PLAY and REW
buttons on the keyboard turn on.)
