Testing the Alarm Functionality of the Security System 

After performing the previous installation procedure, use the following procedure to test the 
alarm functionality of the security system. 

1. 

From the Test Alarm screen, touch 

Test 

Alarm

. The Touchscreen sends a test 

alarm, through the system servers, to the 
central-monitoring station as though a 
genuine alarm tripped. The Touchscreen 
informs you that the signal was sent to the 
central-monitoring station. In the event 
reports on the Management Portal Account 
Information screen (

History

 tab and 

Alarms

 

tab), this event reports as 

alarm test mode

. 

 

2. 

After the test alarm is sent, touch 

Next

. 

 

 

The Verify Signal Sent to Central screen 
shows a phone number to the central-
monitoring station and the confirmation 
information of the current customer account. 

 

3. 

Call the provided phone number and give the confirmation information to the 
representative. 

4. 

After you confirm the test alarm was sent 
successfully, touch 

Next
