Managing Lights
A maximum of six IP cameras and 47 ZigBee devices are supported for the system. ZigBee
devices consist of anything that communicates with the Touchscreen over radio frequency,
such as door/window sensors, lighting devices, thermostats, Takeover Boards, key pads,
key fobs, and smoke detectors.
A lighting device allows the customer to turn lights on and off, or dim them from the
Touchscreen or Subscriber Portal.
Perform the operations in this section to manage lighting devices:
Add a lighting device
– see page 131.
Change the name of a lighting device as shown in reports on the Touchscreen and in the
Subscriber Portal
– see page 133.
Delete a lighting device from the security system
– see page 135.
These operations are performed from the Installer Settings menu
(see “Getting Started” on
page 83).
