RB6741-Z Touchscreen Security System Installation Manual 

Managing Key Pads 

A maximum of six IP cameras and 47 ZigBee devices are supported for the system. ZigBee 
devices consist of anything that communicates with the Touchscreen over radio frequency, 
such as door/window sensors, lighting devices, thermostats, Takeover Boards, key pads, 
key fobs, and smoke detectors. 

A key pad is a mobile device used to remotely enter key pad codes. The following 
operations are used to manage key pads.  

 

Add a key pad 

– see page 143. 

 

Change the name of a key pad 

– see page 146. 

 

Reset a key pad to its factory default settings 

– see page 147. 

 

Delete a key pad from the security system 

– see page 147. 

These operations are performed from the Installer Settings menu 

(see “Getting Started” on 

page 83). 

Adding a Key Pad 

To add a key pad to the security system:
