Blank modules occupy unoccupied empty bays and must be in place for proper
operation and to ensure correct airflow. The component modules are discussed in detail
in “Plug-in Modules” on page 5.

Figure 1-3 shows the back of a fully configured redundant enclosure with two cooling
modules, two PSU modules, and two I/O modules.
