Problem
Solution
No image on screen during
“Scan in Target” or
“Screening” modes.
1. Check serial communication (see
section: PM and PSB test).
2. Check PM output.
The image on the monitor is
too dark.
•
Try adjusting the window level of the
monitor (brightness and contrast).
•
Make sure that the gray level bar on the
right side of the screen is fully visible.
•
Check the connection of the Transmitter
cable to the Computer.
•
Check the connection of the Transmitter
cable to the electrode.
•
Check that the T-Sense interface is
positioned correctly and good contact is
being made.
The image appears with the
same black/white spot, no
matter which sector is being
examined with the Scan
probe.
•
Check if there is good contact for the
Scan Probe. Tighten the contact.
•
Use the phantom and see if the problem
remains. If so – move the probe around
and check that the spots are displayed in
a fixed location otherwise they are air
bubbles.
•
Check if there is good contact between
the cylinder and the patient’s hand.
•
Make sure there is enough gel on the
patient’s hand.
•
If the problem remains, it indicates a
dead sensor on the Scan probe and the
probe should be replaced.
WARNING
: Never connect or
disconnect probes when the system is
powered as this could cause damage to
the system. Be sure that all connections
to the electrical outlet are disconnected
before changing probes.
