6.1.3 Windows NT Error Messages
1.
Exit to “Windows”.
2.
Click on Start and Select “Programs”/ “Administrative
Tools”/ “Event Viewer."
3.
Double click on the event to find event details.
6.2 Input/Output Problems
Problem
Solution
The Computer is not
functioning.
•
Check the Power cable connections.
•
Check the fuse in the “AC IN” socket.
•
Check that the switch under the front
panel is in the "ON" position.
•
If the Computer is still not responding,
replace the Computer.
The Mouse is not
responding.
•
Check for correct connection of the
Mouse cable to the computer.
•
Check the Mouse on another Computer.
If the Mouse is still not functioning
correctly, then replace the Mouse.
The Keyboard is not
responding.
•
Check for correct connection of the
Keyboard cable to the Computer.
•
Check the Keyboard on another
Computer. If the Keyboard is still not
functioning correctly, then replace the
Keyboard.
•
If the LED’s on the keyboard do not
work - replace the keyboard.
The Computer screen is
black.
•
Check the power cable of the monitor for
proper connection.
•
Check the Data cable for proper
connection.
•
If the front LED does not change to
green, replace the monitor.
