Close “Control Panel” and restart the system.  

3.3.4  Verifying Operation 

1. 

Call the telephone number that the Modem is connected 
to. 

2. 

When the Modem responds, the customary Modem sound 
will be heard.  

3.4  Internal Zip Drive (Atapi Model) 

3.4.1  Hardware Installation 

1. 

Perform steps 1-9 from the section “replacing the 
computer." 

2. 

Install the Zip drive below the CD-ROM drive. 

3. 

Set the CD-ROM to be the “Master Drive." 

4. 

Set the Zip to be the “Slave Drive." 

5. 

Connect the “double data cable” to the CD-ROM and Zip 
drives. 

6. 

Connect the other side to the Mother Board. 

7. 

Connect power to the Zip drive. 

8. 

Close up the computer and turn the power on. 

3.4.2  Installation of Zip Drive Software
