Solution
Parallel card has no number
•
Make sure the program was activated.
Modem Error
•
Check power to the modem
A message on system startup
•
Check the connection between the
modem and the computer.
•
Make sure the modem is set to start up
with the system
Error Message: PM is not
responding to message 6...
•
Check the Serial Communication cable
connection in the back of the system.
•
Check that the 3 LED’s on the P.M.
board are ON
•
Check the voltages on the J2 connector
on the PM. The voltages should be 5
Volts, +12 and -12 Volts.
•
Check that the setup for Com1 is
115200.
•
Check parallel cable connected the PM
adapter to the I/O card.
Amplitude Error / over
current
•
Check that there are no foreign metals
on the probe.
•
Check the connection cable between
the PM and the handheld cylinder.
•
Press the "GO" button on the probe
again. If the system is still not
responding appropriately, reboot the
system.
