Devices with S0 interface or digital output

You can use the digital output either as an S0 pulse output or as a limit threshold violation.
You can connect the device in PNP or NPN mode. You will find more information on this in

chapters Technical data (Page 99), Dimensional drawings (Page 105), and Connecting single-

phase device (Page 74).
Activation of the digital output is indicated on the display by the symbol.
You can evaluate the S0 interface digital output using the following external devices, for

example:

Electromechanical meter

•

PLC

If you choose the limit threshold violation setting, you can use the output for:
•

Isolating low-priority loads

•

Alarm signaling

Note

The status of the static output is not updated during parameterization (setup).
