Syntax
show ap debug dhcp-packets [<mac>]
Parameter
Description
<mac>
Indicates the AP's MAC address.
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to view information about the DHCP packets trace information for an AP.
You can view DHCP information only when the dhcp-option parameter is configured with the
set-vlan or set-role rule.
Example
The following example shows the output of show ap debug dhcp-packets command:

The output of this command includes the following parameters:
Column
Description
Timestamp
Displays the timestamp for DHCP packets.
Mtype
Indicates the message type.
Htype
Indicates the hardware address type
Hops
Shows the number of hops.
TID
Shows the transaction ID.
Cip
Indicates the client IP address.
Yip
Indicates the IP address of the AP.
Sip
Indicates the source IP address from which the DHCP packets originated.
Gip
Indicates the Gateway IP address.
Cmac
Indicates the MAC address of the client.
