vamente le scritte "CAL" e "150".
ATTENZIONE
: Per diminuire i tempi di lavoro e per maggior
sicurezza si consiglia l'uso di due pick-up. In questo modo si
eseguirà l'equilibratura delle due ruote con una sola opera-
zione di sollevamento del veicolo.

IMPORTANT!
To decrease the work time and for greater safety, use two pick-
ups, one at either end of the axle. In this way, both wheels can
be balanced with a single lifting operation.
APPLICAZIONE DEI CONTRAPPESI
1)
Togliere il peso campione e applicare il contrappeso nella
quantità e posizione richiesta.
2)
Effettuare un lancio di controllo.
Se, al termine del lancio, il display non indica zero ma presenta
uno squilibrio residuo, NON applicare un secondo contrappe-
so, ma procedere nel modo seguente:
a)
ruotando manualmente la ruota rilevare la posizione dello
squilibrio residuo, cioè portare la striscia riflettente in posizione
corrispondente al led acceso;
b)
osservare la posizione in cui viene ora a trovarsi il contrappe-
so precedentemente applicato e seguire le istruzioni della
tavola
E
cioè:
- se il contrappeso viene a trovarsi nella zona 1 significa che è
troppo leggero, sostituirlo con un altro più pesante;
- se il contrappeso viene a trovarsi in zona 2 significa che è
troppo pesante, sostituirlo con un altro più leggero;
- se il contrappeso viene a trovarsi nelle zone 3 e 4 significa che la
sua posizione non è corretta; spostarlo verso I’alto di circa 1-2 cm.
3)
Effettuare un ulteriore lancio di controllo.
ATTACHING THE WEIGHTS
1)
Remove the standard calibrating weight and attach the
balancing weight as shown.
2)
Do a test spin.
If after this, the display does not give you zero and there is
some residual unbalance, DO NOT attach a second weight but
follow these steps:
a)
the wheel by hand to find the position of the remaining
unbalance, in other words, move the reflecting tape to the
position shown by the lighted LED.
b)
Note the position of the weight you previous attached and
follow the instructions given in Chart
E
above:
- if the weight is in zone 1 this means it is light so change it for a
slighly heavier one;
- of the weight is in zone 2 this means it is too heavy so change
it for a lighter one;
- if the weight is in zone 3 or 4 this means its position is incorrect
so move it about 1-2 cm towards the top.
3)
Make a test spin.
Per le ruote motrici di vetture è possibile effettuare l'equilibratu-
ra contemporanea di entrambe le ruote portandole in velocità
con il motore del veicolo.
Questa procedura è senz'altro consigliata, in quanto riduce i
tempi di lavoro ed elimina il rischio di eventuali danni alle parti
meccaniche (es. differenziale).
Both vehicle drive wheels can be balanced at the same time
using the engine to spin them.
This procedure is recommended since it shortens work time and
eliminates the risk of damaging mechanical parts such as the
differential.
