Displaying the Screen on an External Monitor
To display the screen on an external monitor, you may need to install the driver for
your external monitor. Before using the external monitor, refer to the manual
included with your external monitor.
Switching the Display
1. In the
Display Properties
dialog box, select
Settings
tab; then, click
Advanced
button.
2. Select
Utility Manager
tab; then,
Driver Mode Settings
icon.
3. Select the appropriate mode in
Driver mode
section.
•
When displaying on the LCD monitor:
Set
Driver mode
to
Single
and
Primary
to
LCD.
•
When displaying on the external monitor:
Set
Driver mode
to
Single
and
Primary
to
VGA.
•
When displaying on both monitors simultaneously:
Set
Driver mode
to
Mirror.
4. Click
OK
twice; then,
Yes

5. Click
OK
twice.
•
You can also switch the display with
Fn+F5
.
•
While playing video or animation, you may not be able to switch the
display.
•
When displaying on both of the LCD monitor and the external monitor
simultaneously, the external monitor should be capable for displaying
in 1024
×
768 resolution or more. Otherwise, you may not display
images on the external monitor properly.
