If the dialog box asking you What do you want Windows to do? appears, select the
task you want.
The color of the indicator means:
Gray : no card in the slot or able to eject the card
Green : able to access the card
Red : reading or writing the data from/into the card
Ejecting a SD Memory Card
•
Do not remove the card nor turn off the computer when the indicator
on the taskbar is green or red. Otherwise, the SD memory card or the
data may be damaged.
•
Be sure to follow the instructions below when ejecting a SD memory
card. Otherwise, the system may not work properly.
1. Click start – My computer .
2. Right-click
Removable Disk(E:)
; then,
Eject
. The indicator on the taskbar
turns to gray from green.
Make sure to right-click Removable Disk (E:) , not Removable Disk (F:) .
3. Push the SD memory card into the computer until you hear the clicking sound.
The card pops out slightly.
