9.1.2 Information about the composition of products
The product present an electronic structure. Depending on the required typology and
customization, the products can present with a single steel or plastic case, where the electronic
cards are inserted, which, depending on the specific product technology, can be or directly
mounted in the plastic case or equipped in a metallic (aluminium and/or steel) case.
The electronic cards are made mounting, on a printed circuit board constituted by a multilayer PCB
and epoxy resin (FR 4) with copper track, tin-lead finish and standard components, components
(ICs, diodes, transistors, capacitors and electromechanical components with plastic base body and
metal parts- normally copper alloy) in conformity with international market standards, with respect
to their technology, functionality and packages.
All the components as well as the finished product
cannot be classified as “dangerous
products”
as stated in the DM 28-01-1992.
